Mark was a fantastic mentor for these young people. He was very engaging and the students took note of all he said even though they were at first only interested in football! The information he gave them in relation to the construction industry was sound and I know it gave the students food for thought and made them look at the job market in a different light. Mark is a real asset to your Company and it was a real pleasure to work with him. The students he was talking to had all been excluded from school and could have walked out at any time but Mark held their interest for 20-30 minutes which was fantastic. I have asked Mark if he will help me again when we re-run the Chooseday Tuesday project at Stoke Ormiston Academy in September. Many thanks Mark, you were great!

Finding myself in the unfortunate situation of having to move house 3 times in 18 months, I was totally surprised and pleased to receive an amazing bouquet of flowers from Barnes Construction for my latest ( and hopefully last) house move. As I have only been employed by Barnes since May 2014, the company has escaped the previous two house moves, much to their relief I'm sure! It is a lovely gesture which is greatly appreciated when coping with such a stressful and arduous task.
